COVID-19 update: Printwell remains open as an essential business

Dear Friends,

Under the guidance of the Department of Homeland Security and Michigan Governor Whitmer’s Executive Order on Monday, March 23, 2020, Printwell is remaining open and considered an Essential Business. Our employees are part of the critical infrastructure workforce in the United States and the State of Michigan and are operating as part of the communications supply chain of essential industries including newspaper publishing, news media, government and financial services. As a DMU (Detached Mail Unit), Printwell is also an extension of the critical infrastructure of the United States Postal Service.

Our number one priority remains the health and safety of our employees, customers and supplier partners. We endorse the efforts of health officials and government leaders to contain the spread of the coronavirus and are doing everything possible to support these initiatives.

As we have noted previously, we continue to operate with adherence to the operational guidelines for businesses provided by the Centers for Disease Control with respect to operating a healthy business. We are following enhanced cleaning and disinfecting our facilities, practicing social distancing and have a “work from home” policy for applicable office staff. We are also continuing to educate our employees on what they can do to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

We will continue to provide you with updates on our response to the coronavirus as needed.

Thank you,

Shawn Borg,
